Boom Supersonic Calls Greensboro Home

The tremendous economic growth of the Triad area of NC has been impacted by many innovative companies. Boom Supersonic is certainly at the top of that list. I began working with this amazing company in the beginning of 2022 as they broke ground on their Overture Superfactory located at the Greensboro PTI Airport. We then celebrated this past week with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony.

There was a select group of VIP's that attended this ribbon cutting event. Blake Scholl who is the Founder and CEO of Boom gave a wonderful welcome speech and then a panel of distinguished guests said a few words along with Governor Roy Cooper.

The construction schedule was right on track the entire time and it all began with a pile of dirt we captured over two years ago with my drone pilot, followed by a ground breaking event inside the airport terminal and they will now begin to construct these amazing supersonic jets for the world to enjoy.

Aircraft produced at the Superfactory will bring vital innovation to aviation and set a new standard for global air travel. The first assembly line will produce 33 Overture supersonic aircraft annually. A planned second assembly line will double aircraft production to 66 each year. - BoomSupersonic.com

I also had the opportunity to visit the site a week before the ribbon cutting to capture some architectural type images of the exterior and the massive interior of this superfactory.
