Harbor Freight Opens Their 1500th Store in Kernersville

Harbor Freight was founded in 1977 and has become a national household brand over the decades. They had a massive milestone earlier this month which was to officially open their 1500th store located in Kernersville, NC.

I received a call a few weeks before the grand opening date from the marketing department based out of CA and we booked the calendar for an early morning start to capture all the special events they had planned for that day.

I arrived at sunrise that morning to capture some building exteriors before the parking lot got full. I was then on point to document the arrival of some VIP's in preparation for the ribbon cutting and speeches provided by senior level leadership of Harbor Freight and the Mayor of Kernersville.

Harbor Freight Tools, commonly referred to as Harbor Freight, is an American privately held tool and equipment retailer, headquartered in Calabasas, California. It operates a chain of retail stores, as well as an e-commerce business. - WIKI

The turn out for this event was well received and a line of customer were almost wrapped around the building in preparation of their first day in business. Congrats to Harbor Freight on their 1500th store opening!
