PGA Championship at Quail Hollow

The 99th PGA Championship took place last week at The Quail Hollow Golf Club in Charlotte, NC. It was a tremendous event and Micciche Photography had the pleasure of visiting the club last year in conjunction with Turf Scout, which is a business that specializes in golf course mapping, data management and analytics.

The photography assignment was to document aerial drone mapping of the course from above and on the ground to promote the cutting-edge technology that Turf Scout brings to the market and to promote the course advancements that Quail Hollow had implemented in preparation for the PGA Championship. It was a very cool gig and I even got to play the course later that year.
