The 2018 US Hickory Golf event was held last month here in Greensboro at Sedgefield Country Club. I had the pleasure of documenting this special event as 80+ players took the field with their vintage hickory stick clubs and full on 1920's attire.
The Society of Hickory Golfers (SOHG) puts on this event along with many other tournaments each year all over the country. Men and women of many ages come out to compete and catch up with their fellow golf traditionalists. I have been an avid golfer most of my life and it was very interesting to document this event for the SOHG and Sedgefield CC.
