E-Sports Gaming Arena on UNCG Campus

UNCG continues to be a premier school here in Greensboro. They launched an amazing E-Sports arena on campus within the student center. It is a state of the art gaming center with many interactive games for students to use. I was asked to photograph the ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremonies which took place a few weeks back.

I arrived on site about 30 minutes before the ribbon cutting to capture some unique images of the space before people were granted access. It gave me an opportunity to shoot some wide angle shots and some up-close macro images of the gaming computers and other spaces within the arena.

There were many VIP's from the University present along with local newspaper press to cover the event. The opening remarks were made by a few board of trustee members along with the Chancellor and Mr. Kaplan, who also provided some remarks and a welcoming message to the attendees speaking about the new E-Sports arena and how it will be a major asset to the school moving forward.
